Home of Africa Crafts is more than a shop. It is a community of girls and women in Mbarara who come together to create, learn and earn.
Why we started
Too many talented women in our community had skills but no market. We set out to change that — building a business that sells high-quality crafts and returns the value to the people who make them.
Learning together
Experienced artisans mentor newcomers in weaving, beading and finishing. Alongside craft skills, members learn pricing, saving and basic business management.
